Interior Design Expo Redesigns Fight Against Substandard Housing (Partners with Local Habitat for Humanity Affiliate)
Rockville, MD – March 1, 2004 -- Interior Design Expo™ enters into joint agreement with Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County, to help combat local substandard housing, during the Interior Design Expo on May 15-16, 2004, at HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY in Hempstead, NY.
Classic Productions C.E.O., Gregory S. Winton for Interior Design Expo™ will contribute to Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County by donating a percentage of all Expo ticket sales to the local nonprofit affordable housing organization located in Suffolk County. Winton says, “all attendees visiting the Interior Design Expo can feel good knowing that a portion of their entrance fees will assist someone less privileged at the same time.”
Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County Director of Development Les Scheinfeld states, “What a wonderful “partnership” Habitat for Humanity will have with Interior Design Expo. By providing us with funding support from the design expo in May, we will be able to build more homes for low- income families. We are always appreciative of support from businesses, especially one so closely aligned with our mission of providing safe, decent, affordable housing.”
“As advocates for the homeless and low-income families we are looking to contribute to the local community. We truly hope that other local businesses will jump on-board with us in this call for help to make a difference. This upcoming event will be a win-win situation for all involved,” says, Gregory S. Winton, C.E.O and President of Classic Production’s Interior Design Expo. Winton adds, “we encourage everyone in the community to come out and support this local effort.”
