Interior Design Expo to Benefit HomeStretch, Inc.
Rockville, MD – March 31, 2004 -- Interior Design Expo™ enters into joint agreement with Homestretch, Inc. to help combat local homelessness during the Interior Design Expo slated for April 17-18, 2004, at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA.
Classic Productions C.E.O., Gregory S. Winton for Interior Design Expo™ will contribute to Homestretch, by donating a percentage of all Expo’s ticket sales to the local charitable homeless organization located in Fairfax County. Winton says, “all attendees visiting the Interior Design Expo can feel good knowing that a portion of their entrance fees will assist someone less privileged at the same time.”
HOMESTRECH DIRECTOR Nancy Taxson states,” “What a wonderful “partnership” Homestretch will have with Interior Design Expo. By providing us with funding support from the design expo in April, we will be able to further support and help homeless families throughout Fairfax County in their efforts to become self- sufficient. We are always appreciative of support from businesses, especially one so closely aligned with our mission of ending homelessness."
“As advocates for the homeless and low-income families we are looking to contribute to the local community. We truly hope that other local businesses will jump on-board with us in this call for help to make a difference, as it has been a very cold winter. This upcoming event will be a win-win situation for all involved,” says, Winton. We encourage everyone in the community to come out and support this local effort.
Interior Designers and local businesses wishing to exhibit in support of the fight against homelessness are encouraged to contact Robyn Rutledge at (301) 294-8550.
